What is FAQ Document Database

当サイトでは掲示板型のFAQではありませんが、当方のなかでいろいろな仕事を やっている間に経験したことなどここに記載することにしています。

おもにサーバ管理者など経験あるかと思いますが、何かのソフトをインストール するさえにうまくいかない場合があります。そのときネット上にあっちこっち探して 解決を見つかるまで大変な作業になるかと思います。

そこで当方でも同じ経験をして、なるべくソフトなどインストールするときにに発生 したトラブルなどここのサイトに記載します。また時々必要なパッチおよびソフトなど あるのですが、2回目そのサイトへ行くともうそのサイト事態なくなり困る場合があります。 当方では利用したファイルなどもこちらのサイトで提供します。皆様に語役に立てばと 思っております。

ここのサイトでは主にUNIXサーバをメインしていますが、時々関係ないものも記載するし、 Windows関係のもの、ネットワークなども記載します。どうぞ情報になればご利用ください。

また当方では長い間Cobaltサーバを利用していて、できるだけ古い型のCobalt（RaQ2,Qube2) などこれからもご利用いただけるようにパッチ、必要なソフトなども提供したいと思います。 新型のももちろん提供しますが。。。ただしすべて自己責任でお願いします。

Why I open this site ?

I open this site/guide for a couple of reasons. First, the existing server setting manual that I've found on the net did not provide a complete solution. My first installation of any server software was such pain for me, thet I had to go through a tough learning process and discover some things by myself. Of cource, such a great Internet resources as mailing lists and other contributions made my life a lot easier :) Second, I simply love to learn all about linux and all its software development, and would like to contribute it all its development, even for a little bit. Third, I think that many admins out there will find this guide useful and practical. And forth, every once in a while I do install all these applications on different servers for various reasons and I simply got tired of carrying installation notes with me all the time. So in a way, these guides is for myself too :)
